The New Albany Symphony Orchestra opens its Fifth Anniversary Season with Grammy Award-winning violinist Hilary Hahn, "America's Best Young Classical Musician" (Time Magazine). Ms Hahn will bring her unparalleled virtuosity to the romantic Korngold Violin Concerto on a hair-raising program that will conclude with Berlioz's electrifying Symphonie Fantastique.

The New Albany Symphony and the professional Latin Dancers of Diamond Dance & Fitness will present a high-energy program featuring all the rhythmic splendor of Latin American music and dance. A la “Dancing with the Stars,” audience members will select the winning dancers via electronic voting in a high-tech concert that will have your Valentine shouting olé!

Nine-time Grammy Award-winning cellist David Finckel, Musical America’s 2012 Artist of the Year, returns to join Music Director Luis Biava in Vivaldi’s Two Cello Concerto and an encore performance of Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations.  The orchestra will perform American composer Jennifer Higdon's 1999 composition, The Blue Cathedral, commissioned for the 75th anniversary of Curtis Institute. The season finale concert and Gala closes with Respighi’s Roman Festivals in a dramatic finish to an unforgettable season!
